Students are strongly urged to choose members who represent the finest of the Oakland High School student body. The Student Council is comprised of 20 members, five from each class. At least one of the representatives must be of the opposite sex. This will ensure that each class will have male and female representation. The Student Council President will be elected from the Senior Class by the student body as a whole. The senior class president is not eligible to also be Student Council President.
