Welcome back to the 2010-2011 school year at Oakland CUSD # 5.  I am excited to begin my second year as Assistant Principal.

I hope summer has given the students and faculty a good break from school, and you are ready to begin a new year. I am proud to annouce the students at Lake Crest made AYP again. I anticipate good things will come our way this year with hard work and dedication from the students and staff. We need to continue to improve our test scores to meet AYP again this year. I encourage everyone to work their hardest and do their best job. I am committed to working hard to ensure you have the best education this school district can offer. We must lead by example, listen with open minds, and learn and teach with enthusiasm.
