Program for After School Study

P.A.S.S Schedule for 2010-2011


P.A.S.S. is held on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30 P.M. in the Lake Crest Library.  The guidelines can be found at the bottom of this page.

If you would like your child to participate, please return the signed agreement form to Mrs. Patty Stark, or contact her at 346-2166.

Guidelines

Time:  3:30-4:30 P.M. on Tuesdays and Thursdays

Grades:  3rd - 8th

Teacher/Pupil Ratio: no more than 1:8, if possible

Cost:  Free of charge

Transportation:  Must be provided by parents

Snack:  A light snack and drink will be provided by the school district.

Student Selection:  Teachers will recommend students based on academic need or at parent request.

Program Agreement:  Parents must sign and return a program guideline agreement in order for their child to attend.

Weather Issues:  If inclement weather requires the cancellation of school, P.A.S.S. will also be cancelled.

Student Requirements:  Students may be dropped from the program for the following reasons: parents do not pick them up promptly at 4:30 P.M., they are a discipline problem, or they do not come prepared.

Student must show up by 3:35 P.M. or the assigned teacher will go home.

This program is funded by the NCLB Title I Grant.
